Unfortunately everything has an end, and Regina had to leave us and go home… But the great news is that she will return to Italy in a few weeks, at Ispra because she found a job!!! So go ahead Regina, we know you gonna rock, we are all with you and we miss you a little bit here!! See you soon!!
The other good news is that Filipa will stay with us a little longer because she stays the whole summer to work in the botanical garden!
So with Regina’s departure come 2 new volunteers, but for now we had just welcome Susana who arrived on Monday (8TH of June).
She will now do a presentation of herself:

I’m Susana, I’m from Portugal (Odivelas/Lisboa), I’m 29, I wanted to have an volunteer experience and be integrated on a site of Community importance management’s project. I’ll be integrated on the “Volunteering in the Magic II” “
I’m finding Anversa very beautiful and sunny (eh eh! at the opposite of my mates because now it’s Spring!). People here are very nice, from the eldest to the youngest. Desperately I don’t speak Italian as I thought :D (though I understand it!) but I hope soon I could speak with every one without a problem.
About the Reserve I found it very interesting, with Flora, Vegetation and Fauna important for conservation and with nice tracks (physical stimulating ;) ). I got worried with the presence of acacia (Robinia pseudoacacia) and ailanto (Ailanthos altissima) which are invader plants but there’s a project to eradicate them. Nice!
